Blast Spinner

The code for Plants vs. Zombies 2 shows that the Blast Spinner plant will be added soon. Zombie enemies in lanes next to her can be stunned for 5 seconds by webs she throws at them. Zombies that are affected may turn into cocoons that will burst and hurt all the zombies around them. If you destroy Blast Spinner, it will web zombies in a 3x3 area and might even turn some of them into cocoons. Every zombie on a tile where the cocoon lands will be killed right away if it lands there.

When Contain-mint is used to boost Blast Spinner, her normal attack does an extra 150 damage (increasing by 20 damage per level), and her Plant Food attack does an extra 450/475/500/525/550/575/600/625/650/750 damage. During the Plant Food effect, she shoots an extra cocoon, her chance of making a cocoon goes up to 80%, her attack cooldown is shortened by 0.5 seconds, and the time it takes for her cocoon to explode is shortened by 1 second.

For every 8 seconds, the plant gets bigger, and for every 12 seconds, it gets bigger. The first stage does 1100 damage to zombies in a 3x3 area. The second stage does 1400 damage to zombies in the same 3x3 area and spawns an initial stage Doom-shroom around it. The third stage does 2200 damage to zombies in a 5x5 area and spawns an initial stage Doom-shroom. No matter what step it is, the explosion will leave a 13.5-second crater that can't be planted on. Because it's Plant Food, all the Doom-shrooms on the lawn immediately reach the next stage, explode, and make more Doom-shrooms appear around it.
